Goal of the Activity

To encourage language exchange and intercultural integration by bringing together Erasmus and local students through a linguistic tandem.

Description

The Linguistic Tandem Night is a cultural exchange event designed to bring together international and local students for an evening of language practice and socialization. The event features structured conversational rounds where participants switch between two languages, allowing them to both teach their native tongue and practice a foreign one. This format fosters a supportive environment where attendees can overcome language barriers and build confidence in speaking without the pressure of a classroom. Beyond linguistic skills, the gathering promotes intercultural understanding and helps students form meaningful connections with people from diverse backgrounds. No prior experience is required to join, as the event relies on mutual curiosity and the enthusiasm to learn from one another. It is a celebration of diversity that perfectly aligns with the spirit of international mobility.

Outcomes

People got to know new words in different languages and made new friendships.
