Goal of the Activity

In this course you will learn how to climb and belay responsibly. The course provides you with the required knowledge for a Norwegian climbing license (Brattkort).

Description

For the first time we can offer a sport climbing course! Everyone who wants to try climbing or already has a little bit of climbing experience is welcome to join the course. No equipment or previous experience is needed. The course will be held over two days from 5 p.m. to 9-10 p.m. each day in an indoor climbing hall and prepares you for the Norwegian Brattkort-test which can be taken a week later - a Brattkort serves as a climbing “licence”. So it is more than just a try out session - you will learn how to belay and lead climb in a safe and responsible way. It is required that you have a good level of English as you must be able to completely understand the instructions during the course (for your own and others safety!). The course is held in collaboration with NTNUI Tindegruppa, who will hold the course. A maximum of 11 people can take part, and you must have time on both dates.
