The objective was to encourage cultural and social integration among international students by creating a dynamic, inclusive, and engaging environment where participants could connect, share experiences, and strengthen interpersonal relationships in a relaxed atmosphere.
Through music and group interaction, the activity aimed to promote intercultural exchange, teamwork, and a strong sense of community, while supporting Erasmus students in their adaptation process and encouraging active participation, diversity, and collaboration.
Karaoke Night! was an interactive social event designed to bring together international and local students in a fun and welcoming environment. Participants had the opportunity to sing songs from different countries and genres, either individually or in groups, encouraging cultural exchange through music and entertainment.
The activity created a relaxed atmosphere where students could meet new people, build friendships, and share memorable experiences beyond the academic setting. Through participation, laughter, and teamwork, the event helped strengthen the sense of community within the Erasmus network while promoting inclusion, confidence, and intercultural connection.
Outcomes
Karaoke Night! generated a highly positive impact among participants, strengthening social interaction and encouraging meaningful connections between international and local students. The activity successfully created an inclusive and welcoming environment where attendees felt comfortable expressing themselves, participating actively, and engaging with people from different cultural backgrounds.
Among the main positive outcomes were the promotion of intercultural exchange, the development of new friendships, and the reinforcement of the sense of community within the Erasmus network. Additionally, the event contributed to improving participants’ confidence, communication skills, and overall integration experience, while providing a memorable and enjoyable social experience outside the academic environment.
