Jam Sessions are an open-minded creative format with one key idea: Having fun by making music together. Through Jam Sessions, musicians in a city can connect and network, exchange ideas or simply fool around on their instruments. During the event, it will be possible to request songs, get to know fellow creatives and be inspired for future music projects. There will be seats for a passive audience that just want to enjoy the live music atmosphere in Garching and have some drinks at C2.
This event is part of the Winter Concert project. The future performers come together for a jam session in preparation of the concert.
Join us for a jam session at Campus Cneipe in Garching! Invitation to musicians and non-musicians alike - play things yourself or simply listen to the magic of improvised music. There is no entry fee. If you simply want to listen, please just come over and do not register here. If you want to play, please help us estimating the amount of active participants by registering for free!
What's the plan?
The session will be hosted at Campus Cneipe in Garching, where our weekly Karaoke events happen as well. The pub will be transformed into a small venue with a makeshift stage and some basic sound systems. At 19:00, an opening band will play a couple of songs to start off the evening. Then, the stage is free for all instrumentalists to join in and play whichever songs they want. There is no genre limitation. Requests for songs can always be voiced and are very welcome.
