Goal of the Activity
The goal of this activity is to use the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women as an opportunity to inform, sensibilise, and engage students on the issue of gender-based violence, encouraging active reflection, solidarity with victims, and the promotion of gender equality through an online awareness campaign.
Description
ESN Milano-Bicocca volunteers of the Communication Working Group created some explainatories stories to post on @esnmilanobicocca Instagram profile using ESN International's Communication Package for SID:
- The first story showed the tragical data about female homicides
The second one emphatised the importance of feeling safe everywhere
The third one emphatised the fact that when a woman says "no", she means "no" with an Italian hashtag #seiononvogliotunonpuoi - The fourth one emphatised the fact that respect and consent speak the same language
- The fifth and last one gave means of help (like 1522 phone number and 1522.eu chat)
