Goal of the Activity
To interface Erasmus students with Abruzzo culture and to include them in the holiday traditions
Description
We took our Erasmus students by train to a city called Sulmona. There was a guided tour of the city led by our volunteers, followed by lunch and then by the visit of the actual holiday market, where everyone had the opportunity to look at and buy handcrafted items specifically from Abruzzo. Erasmus students got the chance to explore our culture and tradition while making connections and strengthening bonds, which was a special moment to be a part of. By the time it got late, we took the train back at the established time and everyone went home afterwards.
