Show the international students the beauty of the Harz region and spend time together outside.
Dear international students,
Come with us to the legendary Harz Mountains! Together, we will explore the rocky gorges of the Bodetal via the Hexentanzplatz and the Rosstrappe.
The hike has a moderate difficulty level and includes some steep ascents and descents. We will hike approximately 8 km with about 600 meters of elevation.
What you should bring:
- Public transport ticket (e.g. semester ticket or Germany Ticket)
- Drinks (enough water) – stay hydrated!
- Food & snacks
- Weather-appropriate clothing (rain jacket, sunscreen, etc.)
- If possible, hiking boots; at the very least sturdy, non-slip footwear
Please be on time so we can all catch the train!

- Departure: 08:49 am from Halle (Saale) main station, platform 12

beautiful location, had a nice time, participants were happy, it was very useful that we could split in the middle and those who didn’t want to hike further could take a relaxing stroll back through the Bodetal, the hiking paths are very good
