The main goal of the Fenerbahçe Stadium Tour was to provide Erasmus students with a cultural and recreational experience by introducing them to one of Turkey’s most iconic football clubs and its history. The activity aimed to foster intercultural exchange through sports, help students explore local passions, and create a sense of belonging by connecting them with a significant aspect of Istanbul’s identity.
The Fenerbahçe Stadium Tour offered Erasmus students the opportunity to explore the legendary Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium, home to one of Turkey’s most historic football clubs. During the tour, participants visited key areas such as the locker rooms, press hall, museum, and the pitch side, gaining insight into the club's rich history and the deep-rooted football culture in Turkey.
The activity provided a fun and engaging way for students to connect with local traditions, while also encouraging informal socialization and shared experiences among international peers. It was not only a cultural visit but also a chance to understand how sports can shape identity and community spirit in a new country.
