Goal of the Activity
- The main goal of the ESN Paris Welcome Week was to foster social inclusion and help international students integrate smoothly into Parisian life.
- Through a week of varied and accessible activities, the event aimed to break social barriers, encourage interaction between students from all backgrounds, and create a sense of belonging within the international and local community.
Description
- The Welcome Week was a seven-day integration program organized by ESN Paris, designed to welcome new Erasmus and international students arriving in the city.
The week included a wide range of activities: a Language Café and Speed Friending to connect through languages, a Bowling Night to bond in a casual atmosphere, a Treasure Hunt across Paris to explore the city together, a Pub Crawl and Drink Pong Night to encourage social interaction, a Cultural Visit of Île Saint-Louis, and a final Welcome Party in a climbing room — offering both fun and a unique experience. - The event was built around inclusivity and accessibility: activities were open to everyone, regardless of language level, nationality, or social background. The Welcome Week allowed students who had just arrived in France to make their first friends, discover Paris, and feel part of the ESN family from day one.
