This photo-focused event invited Erasmus students to reflect on their semester abroad and share their unique experiences through pictures and short stories. By turning personal memories into a collective exhibition and friendly contest, it highlighted the everyday life and travels of students in Katowice.
Erasmus Travel Snapshots was a cosy yet powerful photo & storytelling event, where international students turned their semester abroad into a shared journey of memories. Through personal photos and short stories, Erasmus participants reflected on both their travels and everyday life in Katowice. After presenting their pictures and stories, the event transformed into a photo contest with creative categories such as Best Travel Picture, Best Shot of Erasmus Life in Katowice, Photo with the Best Story Behind It, Cultural Clash and Friendship. This format encouraged everyone to actively take part and celebrate each other’s experiences. Hosted in a warm atmosphere with tea and cakes, the event felt like a living Erasmus gallery. It was a perfect moment to look back, relive the best memories and close the semester together in the true Erasmus spirit.
Outcomes
The event fostered intercultural dialogue, encouraged active participation, and created lasting memories for Erasmus students.
