Goal of the Activity
To explain and critically examine the colonial remnants that can be explained through monuments and buildings in the city.
To adapt the narrative to both international and local students.
Description
Tour around Port Vell and the neighbourhood Ciutat Vella. The tour follows the concept of decolonizing cultural heritage: explaining heritage while taking into account the effects and traces of the colonial process on it. Thus, in our tour we aimed to visit emblematic areas of Barcelona that have a past closely linked to colonization.
Outcomes
It went very well for being the first time. The Erasmus students were very attentive and asked many questions; they were interested.
The tour ended up being quite complete.
