Goal of the Activity

The main goal of this activity was to showcase the architectural and cultural heritage in the region of Jaén:

  1. Baeza World Heritage Site
  2. Úbeda World Heritage Site
  3. Discover the relevance of Renaissance architecture in 16th-Century Spain and Europe.
  4. Showcase the key role of architectural trends and art in the development and understanding of our cities and culture as we know them today.
Description

We wanted to carry out this activity within the framework of the European Heritage Days, taking place from September to November 2025, showing our international students at the University of Jaén two of the most prominent examples of Renaissance architecture in Andalusia, the Renaissance monumental ensembles of Úbeda and Baeza in one day.
