Goal of the Activity

The goal of the Cooking Class was to provide Erasmus students with an immersive cultural experience by learning the art of traditional Italian pizza-making. Guided by a professional pizzaiolo, participants had the opportunity to explore Italian culinary traditions, develop new skills, and engage in a hands-on activity that encouraged teamwork, cultural exchange, and a deeper appreciation of local gastronomy.

Description

The Cooking Class was a fun and interactive experience that brought Erasmus students together to learn the secrets of authentic Italian pizza-making. Under the guidance of an expert pizzaiolo, participants discovered the importance of high-quality ingredients, mastered the techniques of kneading and shaping the dough, and perfected their own pizzas with a variety of toppings.

The atmosphere was lively and engaging, with students enjoying every step of the process, from preparing the dough to sliding their pizzas into the oven. Laughter and excitement filled the room as they compared their creations and eagerly awaited the final result. Once the pizzas were ready, everyone gathered to enjoy their handmade dishes, celebrating their culinary achievements together.

The event was a fantastic opportunity for Erasmus students to connect with Italian culture in a unique and memorable way. It not only allowed them to develop new skills but also fostered friendships and a sense of community. The Cooking Class was for the erasmus students a true taste of Italy, leaving everyone with memories and a newfound appreciation for one of the country’s most iconic dishes.
