Goal of the Activity

Cook for Your Country promoted cultural exchange through food and allow participants to present culinary traditions from their countries. It also sought to strengthen community bonds and encourage openness and integration in an informal setting.

Description

Cook for Your Country event took place on 11 May 2026 at SpinPlace in Katowice and featured an international dinner where participants brought traditional dishes from their home countries. The evening created an opportunity to taste a variety of foods, including pizza, dumplings and desserts, while enjoying a friendly and multicultural atmosphere. The table featured a wide variety of foods, including Italian pizza and bruschetta, Romanian papanasi (traditional doughnuts), Turkish çiğ köfte, Serbian pita sa sirom (cheese pie) and ajvar, Kazakh sweets, and a Polish sandwich with smalec and pickled cucumber.
