To strengthen social bonds, encourage intercultural exchange and support the integration of international students, contributing to a more enriching Erasmus experience. The most prominent goal was to foster a sense of community among international students and introduce a students to slovak heritage.
In collaboration with ESN CU and ESN STU BA, ESN Trnava organized a trip to Čachtice Castle on April 25th, 2026. A total of 26 participants joined the activity, departing by train from Bratislava, where the group met, with some students joining along the way in Trnava. Together, participants took a short and easy hike from the village of Višňové to reach the castle. At the site, they enjoyed a guided tour, gaining insights into the history of the castle and its surroundings. After the visit, the group gathered on a meadow nearby for a shared picnic. The event created a friendly and open atmosphere, where participants had the opportunity to connect through icebreaker activities in small groups. It helped strengthen social bonds, encourage intercultural exchange, and support the integration of international students, contributing to a more enriching Erasmus experience.
