The main goal of the "Book Corner - 4th Edition" is to provide an inclusive and enriching environment where international students and locals can connect through literature. This activity fosters intercultural dialogue, promotes shared learning experiences, and encourages participants to engage in meaningful discussions about diverse perspectives and ideas. It also aims to build a community of book enthusiasts, enhancing social integration and a sense of belonging among attendees.
The "Book Corner - 4th Edition" is a recurring literary gathering organized by ESN Coimbra, bringing together book lovers from diverse backgrounds. For this edition, participants delved into Virginia Woolf’s iconic essay “A Room of One’s Own”. The event provided an opportunity to explore Woolf’s thought-provoking themes surrounding creativity, gender, and the need for personal space. Attendees engaged in open discussions, shared their interpretations, and exchanged book recommendations in a welcoming atmosphere. The event successfully blended intellectual stimulation with cultural exchange, creating a space for connection and thoughtful conversation.
Outcomes
