Getting the participants to see an exhibition on the battlefields of World War II and to reflect on topics relevant towards the formation of an informed and conscient new European generation.
The participants were brought to the exhibition organised by a Volunteer from ESN Milano Statale, Alessio Franconi, who has travelled far and wide in order to photograph the battlefields of the World Wars of last century; this exhibition was centred on World War II. By visiting the exhibition, the participants have had the opportunity of experiencing pieces of the history of Worl War II and of reflecting on the loss and violence which struck the world during those years.
After the exhibition, the participants were also accompanied on a visit to the Museum of Risorgimento (Italian War of Indipendence).
Outcomes
Given the topics of the Event and the trying times we live in, it is important to have international students build a conscience of what happened as a way of moving forward as a united future generation.
