Celebrate the constitution day in a classic Norwegian way!

Description

The 17th of May is Norway’s National Day, celebrating the signing of the Constitution in 1814.

It is celebrated with parades in the city centre, traditional clothing (bunad), Norwegian flags, music, and lots of ice cream and hot dogs. High school students, Russ, also celebrates their graduation!

A lot of students and organisations, including ESN Trondheim, will walk in the city parade!

 

ESN Trondheim will walk in the People's parade, "Folketoget", along with all the other student organisations! This is a huge parade in the city centre that truly reflects the celebration of 17th of May!

 

⭐️ For: Erasmus, international students and Norwegian ESNbuddies

🗓️ Date: 17th of May

⏰ Time: 13:15

📍 Location: Pilgrimsgården, by the river behind Nidarosdomen

👕 Dress code: Formal. Wear a suit/dress/formal outfit. No hoodies or jeans!

🚫 Don’t bring alcoholic beverages to the parade.
